There were 1,006 people in hospital with COVID-19 across Quebec on Thursday, a decrease of six from Wednesday’s update. The number of people in intensive care across the province also decreased by two, to 23.
Due to a technical issue with Public Health’s database, new information on the number of deaths was not available Thursday, nor was there an update about the number of health care workers absent for Covid-related reasons. At last count there had been 15,467 deaths linked to the virus since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.
