Recently, after Canadian approval of the AstraZeneca vaccine, Quebec announced that they would administer the vaccine to adults of all ages, despite Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization declaring the vaccine “not recommended” for anyone over 65 years of age.
Richard McCallum resides in Sherbrooke and is hesitant about the AstraZeneca vaccine, citing claims that there has not been enough testing done on its efficacy in senior citizens, something that has been reported by the national vaccine panel.
