By Matthew McCully – An information session was held on Sunday morning, organized by The Inverness Safeguarding Committee (ISC), to discuss what should become of Inverness Golf Course following the owner’s decision not to open this summer. Roughly 150 members of the public attended the meeting. According to Chantal Brodeur, one of the founding members of the ISC, the main concern among locals is that the property could be sold and become the site of a large uncontrolled development without any consultation from the public.
