By Matthew McCully – While there are plenty of Townshippers, originally from the Lower North Shore, who would be willing to spend hours describing the beauty of the region, many agree the landscape is something ‘you have to see for yourself.’
A team of filmmakers from Montreal agreed.
Directors Nicolas-Alexandre Tremblay and Stéphane Trottier spent close to three years travelling to the Lower North Shore to document the lifestyle of the people living there in a recently released film, Les Coasters. The documentary will be screened at Centennial Theatre on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. According to Trottier, the idea for the documentary came from a friend of theirs, Mathieu Landry, the film’s Director of Photography. Landry was hired by the school board for a corporate video project. See full story in the Friday, Nov. 30 edition of The Outlet.
