The Organizing Committee of the 58th Jeux du Quebec – Sherbrooke 2024 paid a visit to École Carillon in Sherbrooke yesterday to introduce students to the mascot for the games, an Arctic fox. The choice is a nod to the red fox, Sherlo, who was the mascot of the Quebec Games held in Sherbrooke in 1995. These days Sherlo represents the Vert & Or of the University of Sherbrooke.
A contest is now underway to find a name for this year’s mascot.
The idea for the arctic fox all started with Sherbrooke director and scriptwriter Anh Minh Truong.
