Justin Lefebvre Foundation golf event raises $43,000

On Friday, Sept. 18, nearly 165 guests took part in either a round of golf at the Sherbrooke Golf Club or a Riedel Experience wine tasting at Mont Orford, raising $43,000 for the Justin Lefebvre Foundation.
All activities took place outside in order to ensure the safety of all attendees and many attendees wore masks. While one group played a round of golf with games and entertainment for younger attendees, the other travelled to the top of Mont Orford for a wine tasting.
Both groups finished their events by late afternoon and returned to the Sherbrooke Golf Club for a cocktail dinner and live music. According to a press release from the organization, several guest chefs took part in the preparation of the meal, and the business community of Sherbrooke was actively involved.
The event had several presenters including Mercedes-Benz Sherbrooke, members of the Beaucage Group, Genesis Estrie, and MB Capital among others.

The money raised will be going directly to the Justin Lefebvre Foundation, which reduces financial barriers for children of low-income families to give them access to sports and education and promotes and financially assists research surrounding organ donation.
