By Steve Blake – The Knowlton Academy bistro program might not be preparing meals for the community this year, but the students involved are still learning – and more than just cooking. Kathleen Ruel, one of the coordinators of the program, says they learn life skills, nutrition, and the basics of cooking. The bistro is a non-funded program at the school which in past years the students cooked and served meals to members of the public.
