La Maison Au Diapason celebrates 10 years of service

Last week Au Diapason Foundation launched its annual campaign for the upcoming edition of will La Marche/La Course benefiting the local palliative care centre. The event, now in its 11th year, will be held on Sunday, May 3 inviting participants to walk or run through Bromont’s beautiful trails. This year La Maison Au Diapason will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, so there will be several presentations in store following the event. Participants are invited to remain at La Maison following their walk or run for the announcement of the amount raised for the Foundation’s 2018-2020 major fundraising campaign. The spokesperson for this year’s run is actor and director Denis Bouchard. At a press conference last week Bouchard explained his motivation to get involved in the fundraising event. “If angels exist, then they live here,” Bouchard said. “When I visited La Maison Au Diapason, I was completely fascinated by the team’s dedication to its patients and their loved ones. The attention and care offered to patients living their last moments with their family in this extraordinary place, all provided free of charge, is amazing,” he commented. Also at the press conference was Au Diapason volunteer Claude Desloges, who shared the importance of supporting the palliative care centre.
