By Louise Smith – On Thursday, March 28th, during the day and in the evening, the Heroes’ Memorial Talent Show was staged. As Laura Barr, the music teacher, is retiring in June, this was her farewell show. The show opened with the band and then the choir, both under her direction. It is great to see musical instruments in use by young students. The choir did a series of songs written by John Barr about travelling on a school bus and taking on the challenges of life.
