The Bolton-Est Public Market will begin its fifth season on June 11.
Having grown steadily since its beginnings, the Market welcomed more than 600 visitors on certain Saturdays in 2021 and enabled merchants to sell up to $180,000 of products.
Merchants gather under a large marquee to create a distinctive market atmosphere. We will occasionally welcome artisans from the region who come to present their production and who will demonstrate their creative processes.
The Bistro du Marché
The Market is located in Terrio Park in Bolton-Est (18, rue Terrio) and has a café bistro where it is good to eat and chat. Every Saturday, the Bistro welcomes musicians from the region in a festive and dynamic atmosphere.
A fun market
In addition to the marquee and the bistro, the market offers activities for children: literary activities, crafts and face painting for children. Some weeks, artists and artisans will perform live for visitors.
A special thank you to the Municipality of Bolton-Est, which has been a partner of the Public Market since its inception.
Opening on June 11 and then every Saturday until October 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the Market and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Bistro.
About Le Rucher Boltonnois
Le Rucher Boltonnois is a social economy Non-profit organization created in February of 2018.
The Rucher is the continuation of the “J’adopte une ruche” project created in 2017 in Bolton-Est with the financial support of the municipality.
The Rucher is also the organizer of the Bolton-Est public market which takes place in a marquee in the park during the summer. It also operates the Bistro du Marché every Saturday.
The Rucher recently acquired the building located at 2616 route Nicholas Austin. This will allow Le Rucher to develop even more projects and fully carry out its mission.
Le Rucher is inspired by the collective strength of bees to carry out great projects, one small drop of nectar at a time.
