In the Memphremagog MRC, studies have shown that 51 per cent of English-speaking children, and 24.8 per cent of French-speaking children, are vulnerable in one or more areas of development at school entry.
Le Tandem, developed by the Dr. Julien Foundation, is a social pediatrics center that has been dedicated to serving over 250 families in the Memphremagog area since 2017. It is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of the public and corporate partners to fund its activities and the care of children.
