Leadville Union teams up with Desert Heat for a show this Saturday Night, Aug 19 in Mansonville for the Esprit de Potton/Spirit of Potton festival starting at 8:30 p.m. at Park Andre Gagnon in the multi-functional shelter.  The two-day festival organized by the Municipality of Potton cultural committee begins on Friday, Aug. 18 and runs through to Saturday night’s Leadville Union/Dessert Heat performance and fireworks event.  With numerous activities, entertainment and fun this annual event is a favourite for all ages.

“This will be the first time the original four members of Desert Heat have played in Mansonville together in almost 10 years,” shared lead vocalist, Trevor Brunton who, along with brother, Tim initiated the groups creation over thirty years ago.

“Tim Brunton and Robin Wilkinson will join us for a fun night of music.   We will be playing a mix of Rock, Country and Blues Favourites.

Other special guest so far include Tristan Brunton, Erik Michaud, and Maxyme with others showing interest,” he enthusiastically added.

Reuniting for an event such as this and having the opportunity to play with the members of Leadville Union always means a good time for the former band members, present band members and those who enjoy playing music with others when the chance arises.  A jam session of sorts unfolds and the audience reaps the rewards.  If you were a Desert Heat fan or are a Leadville Union follower, this event is not to be missed.
