Guillaume Lirette-Gélinas, the Borough Councilor for Lennoxville’s Fairview district, will be hosting what he is calling a “citizens’ assembly” in a hybrid online/in person format on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Amédée-Beaudoin Community Centre.
“The idea is, above all, to find citizen-driven solutions to local problems,” said Lirette-Gélinas, explaining that the idea for such a forum was a part of his initial electoral campaign. The borough councillor then engaged in an initial door-to-door campaign in his half of the community last summer to try to gather ideas about some of the concerns in the district.
