The Lennoxville library is welcoming book lovers from Sherbrooke and surrounding communities to hear five local panelists make their case for the book they believe should be chosen as “the one book to shift our perspective.”

On March 15, the Lennoxville Library will host the 20th edition of the popular literary event “Canada Reads…and so does Lennoxville”. The free event, held a few weeks before CBC’s national Canada Reads broadcasts, will take place at Hope Community Church at 7 p.m. The event will also be available via livestream on the library’s YouTube channel.

The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be available throughout the night. Stephanie Brown, English teacher at Alexander Galt Regional High School and long running MC for the event, will moderate a lively discussion where each of the five panelists will make their case for the book they have chosen to defend. To conclude the evening, the audience will vote for the winner and have the chance to win a variety of door prizes provided by local businesses, the City of Sherbrooke, and the CBC.
