After having to cancel in 2020, Sherbrooke’s Festival des Traditions du Monde (FTMS) has announced a return for a modified 24th edition in August of 2021, including a significant number of performances and activities that will take place in Lennoxville.
Whereas the festival is usually a large-scale event focused at Quintal Park in Fleurimont, the 2021 edition has been spread out across several venues in the city in order to respect public health guidelines and limitations on public gathering. It will take place from August 12-15.
This year concerts will be taking place at the Granada and Centennial Theatres, and at the Parvis hall in Fleurimont, while cultural workshops and activities, as well as a taste of the festival’s traditional intercultural dining, will be situated at the Marché de la Gare and Square Queen.
More information on the festival, including the full program of events, is available in English online at https://ftms.ca/en/home.
