By Matthew McCully – The Maison de la Culture in Waterloo was packed on Wednesday afternoon for the premiere of Life is an Adventure, a film featuring Natalie Barr’s K5 class. The Waterloo Elementary teacher began the tradition last year by writing and directing a feature-length film starring her students. While last year’s movie was a fairytale, this year’s feature was about a different kind of adventure: A day in the life of two parents on their day off. The two parents (Caleb and Kensie), send their two boys off to school at Waterloo Elementary in the morning, and then head out on the town to do all kinds of important adult stuff.
