Little Forks stop sign missing for three months

On March 27 of this year, Karl Hunting pointed out to Lennoxville’s Borough Council that the stop sign at the corner of College and Little Forks Streets had disappeared, pole and all. Hunting returned to make the same report the following month, and again at the meeting in the last week of May. Asked on Tuesday whether a new sign had been installed in the week since his third message to the city, the Little Forks landlord just laughed. Hunting told the Record that it is not unusual for signs of all kinds to go missing in the student village, adding that he often finds them sitting around in his apartments after renters move out. In this case, however, he said that he felt like someone had run the sign over and taken it with them to hide the evidence. See full story in the Wednesday, June 6 edition of The Record.
