Local churches ­supporting mental health

Val Rawlings of Plymouth Trinity United Church (left) and Esther Barnett of Lennoxville United (right) present Josée Parent, the founder and Executive Director of Mon Shack in Lennoxville with a cheque for over $1,100. The money, raised by the two churches over the season of lent, will go towards helping Mon Shack in its work supporting young people with mental health challenges in the region. In expressing her appreciation for the donation, Parent pointed to the contribution as an example of the mission of her organization in action.
