Record Staff – Kerr Trailers, a company based out of Cookshire, is in the process of producing an order of ten specialized trailers meant to transport new medium-range radar (MRR) equipment for the Canadian Army. MRR is a transportable but powerful system that can quickly detect and locate sources of indirect fire, including rocket propelled grenades, mortars, rockets and other munitions fired without a direct sightline to the target. The system is also designed to be set up and taken down in only 20 minutes and operated remotely from as much as 100 metres away. See full story in the Wednesday, July 18 edition of The Record.
