Lessard is President of the local chapter of the Association québécoise de voile adaptée, which has been offering sailing sessions to people with all kinds of physical challenges, from paralysis to blindness, through the Club Nautique du Petit Lac Magog in Rock Forest for the last 20 years. “We want to be able to offer this opportunity to as many people as possible,” the president said, “it is open to everyone.” See full story in the Thursday, June 20 edition of The Record.
