International adventurer and humanitarian Yannick Daoudi, director and founder of InspirAction, is set to host the foundation’s annual fundraising conference this coming Feb. 20.

Organised by the English Department of the CÉGEP de Sherbrooke, the conference will be held at Salle Alfred-DesRochers. Dr. Yannick Daoudi of Lennoxville said the conference is more than just an ordinary conference – it’s a show.

Back from his latest muscle-powered expedition through the driest place on earth, the Atacama Desert, Daoudi will host his presentation ‘Water for Life’, sharing the challenge of being deprived of one of the planet’s most vital resources: water. He will then present his latest humanitarian project, which aims to provide an impoverished community in Haiti with access to potable water.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. and tickets are available for $6, with 100 per cent of the profits going towards The InspirAction Foundation’s primary school project in Haiti.
