With the arrival of Halloween, local police and municipal public security departments have issued their annual guidelines regarding trick or treating on the evening of Oct. 31.
In Sherbrooke the police have advised the public that they will be out on pumpkin patrol between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to help make sure the streets are as safe as possible. The Memphremagog police, meanwhile, begin their patrol at 4 p.m. assisted by members of the fire departments in Magog and Austin.
