By Stacey Vilandré – Do you want to see some local products and vendors? Have some fresh vegetables in your meals and try some homemade goods?
The Cowansville marketplace started in 2014, and has since then grown by around 5 vendors per year. It was started as a means of inclusion for those with physical, mental, and/or financial difficulties. The associated organization is L’eveil ,which is located in Cowansville. These individuals receive compensation for their work; half from the government and half from the organization. See full story in the Tuesday, July 24 edition of the Brome County News.
