By Matthew McCully – North Hatley Elementary had a visit on Wednesday morning from Toronto based conservation organization the Earth Rangers. The visitors, which included a lizard, a skunk, a barn owl and a peregrine falcon, spent an hour with the students to talk about climate change, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting animals and the environment. The rangers used their four special guests to help explain the importance of protecting the natural habitat of wildlife. See full story in the Thursday, March 28 edition of The Record.
