Local speed skater heads to the international stage

Canadian short track speed skater Jordan Pierre-Gilles is making his world championship debut in a few days after spending nearly a year on the sidelines, as every major competition was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The 22-year-old Sherbrooke native spent two weeks in quarantine before flying to the Netherlands on Saturday.
