Local teens take first place in Quebec City XMAN race

By Gordon Lambie

On September 21, four boys from the Townships left to compete in the XMAN Race in Quebec City and came back champions. Brett Bryant, Isaac St.-Laurent, Matthew Moore, and Jacob Willard placed first in one of eight heats of 100 people when their team was able to cross the finish line before any other. “It’s a seven kilometre race with 50 obstacles,” Bryant explained, comparing the course to the television program American Ninja Warrior. “Jacob got the tickets for Christmas and he asked us if we wanted to go.” See full story in the Monday, Oct. 7 edition of The Record.
