Locals perform The Cruellest Month for Syrian refugees

This coming Friday and Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Church in North Hatley (UUEstrie), a cast of 14, under the direction of Phyllis Baxter, will perform radio play type version of The Cruellest Month, a well-known novel by Townships mystery writer Louise Penny, adapted by playwright Eric Alexandre.
The event, scheduled for Jan.22-23 will be a fundraiser benefiting UUEstrie as well as two local initiatives in support of Syrian refugees.
