By Matthew McCully – Students from Grades 3 and 4 at Sunnyside Elementary School in Stanstead recently held a mini-vernissage to show off a new art installation, a magical garden, spread across eight large windows in the school’s library. Initiated by the Sunnyside Community Learning Centre (CLC), the project brought Montreal multi-disciplinary artist Jessica Houston to the school throughout the month of November to help the students learn how to bring nature inside and onto the walls by exploring different colours and textures and using light.
