Sherbrooke police are looking for a young man whose recent behaviour has caused concern and who may be connected to a case of sexual assault.
The man, in his twenties has recently been reported as aggressive with strangers. Police released digital portraits of the suspect on Monday.
The incidents in question took place in October at the Conservatoire de musique de Sherbrooke on Conseil St, and in a pet store on Galt East.
At the store, he asked the employee personal questions before moving to the other side of the counter, where he grabbed her by the hand and pressed her to kiss him on the mouth. He managed to kiss her on the cheek twice, but was pushed back on the third attempt. He also tried to grab her chest but left when the victim grabbed a phone to call police.
On October 9 at the Conservatoire de musique, the suspect was very insistent with the two women to whom he spoke. He asked very personal questions, complimented them and asked one to write her name on a piece of paper so he could find it on Facebook. He grabbed the other woman by the hand, squeezing it tightly, and wouldn’t let go.
He is described as a young Asian man will acne scars on his face. He speaks poor English and was wearing a red Under Armor sweatshirt.
