Manoir Stanstead staff move back into residence for another month

During the first wave of the pandemic, 13 staff members at Manoir Stanstead moved into the residence to reduce the risk of bringing COVID-19 into the facility.
On Jan. 10, 15 staff members committed to move in again. They will stay with the residents until Feb. 8 in an effort to give the seniors a safe environment and some sense of normalcy during the pandemic.
“We did it again for them so they can eat in the dining room and come out of their rooms,” explained Donna Rolfe, assistant to head nurse and residence director Susie Adam.
While Stanstead doesn’t have a major outbreak at the moment, Rolfe said one case would be too much at the residence.
