By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – In honour of Massey-Vanier High School’s 50th anniversary celebrations, William Jarand’s Secondary 5 drama students will be presenting an original play, “Class Reunion,” on Thursday, February 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Massey-Vanier auditorium. Admission is free. The intrigue-filled murder mystery was written by the students. “It’s an original script that was workshopped by the students,” mentioned Jarand to The Record. “It follows a handful of characters, all created by the students, who are attending their high school’s 20-year reunion. It’s in a secluded location and they are not looking forward to seeing ex-classmates they did not really like back in the day. Once they arrive, things go south quickly.” See full story in the Tuesday, Feb. 26 edition of The Record.
