Massey-Vanier to host Visser-MacLeod tournament as part of 50th anniversary celebrations

By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – Massey-Vanier High School will be tipping off its 50th anniversary celebrations next weekend as they host the Quebec Secondary School Sports Association (QSSSA) Visser-MacLeod Juvenile Basketball tournament on February 28 and March 1. Eight boys’ teams will be competing in the Visser tournament and eight girls’ teams will be competing in the MacLeod tournament. Students from across the province will gather in Cowansville this Thursday and Friday for the occasion. Teams from Alexander Galt, Centennial, Chateauguay Valley Regional, Heritage, Bishop’s College School, Stanstead College, Quebec High School, Joseph-Hermas Leclerc, Jean-Jacques Bertrand, and Massey-Vanier will be participating.
