As a preamble to the presentation of the 2017 budget and capital expenditure plan for the next three years, Mayor Richard Burcombe explained how it all relates to the strategic plan adopted for the years 2015 to 2020. The planners’ focus has been to modernize the infrastructure, intensify economic and demographic development, showcase quality of life, protect Brome Lake and its surrounding environment, and to strengthen municipal governance and institutional relations.
