Memphremagog police arrest man for threatening SPA employee

Around Midday on Tuesday, investigators from the Memphremagog Police arrested a 72-year-old man as he left his home in Orford Township.
The individual in question had, a few days earlier, threatened an employee of the Eastern Townships SPA who had come to his home to conduct a census of dogs and cats on the territory of the municipality. The man then refused any collaboration with the SPA employee and showed him what appeared to be a handgun, mentioning to him that he was very capable of “solving his problems himself”.
