While deer are no strangers to the streets of Lennoxville, locals got quite the surprise when they saw a moose meandering around in a small ravine on Vaudry Street in between College and Clough on Monday morning.
The Sherbrooke Police Service stopped by and determined the moose did not pose an immediate threat to the public. The SPS also passed on its location to the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs for further follow up should the moose linger or appear unwell.
The moose declined comment and also refused to smile for the camera.
