My Take
The format of a My Take is 150 words – no more, no less – to express an opinion on a different topic each week. This week’s topic was The moose

I had the privilege of snapping a few photos of the famous moose on Capleton this week. I’m no animal expert, but it’s majestic. Seeing it in person, it didn’t appear to be injured or scared. It seemed content, happy to stay a while.

Which is reason to be worried in and of itself.

It’s likely not the safest place to be hanging out near busy roads while standing on a river that’s set to turn into a swimming pool.

It’s easy to say, “let mother nature take its course,” but sometimes parents need to step in and make critical decisions on behalf of their children. Seeing as this baby moose doesn’t seem to have parents around, it may be time to help it get relocated to a safer area.

I fear without human intervention, this moose won’t last much longer.

But I’m no expert.
