Shoutout to the moms.
Y’all work 24/7/365.
Whether you work 12-hour shifts and then drive a minivan packed with six screaming kids to go to soccer without ever getting a thank you, or you’re a stay at home mom, you’re a hero.
Unlike most 9-5 jobs where people are talking about work-life-balance, you don’t get to turn your brain off.
You’re caring for the kids, doing laundry, groceries, cooking, keeping up with what needs to be done and by when, etc.
Those going to a 9-5 where they get to punch in and out and put their feet up after a work day with a cold beer have it easy, in my honest, humble opinion.
The moms?
You deserve the raise.
You need life-life balance.
You’re the glue keeping this well-oiled machine running.
So if you haven’t already heard it today, thank you.
