I’d love to use my spring break to fly down south somewhere like Florida, where I could party it up and forget about COVID altogether. I assume this attitude is the reason that Mr. Trudeau has recently implemented restrictions aimed at discouraging such behaviour.
Well, hats off to him because it worked. A two week quarantine makes international travel unappetizing enough but being forced to quarantine for three days in expensive hotels makes it financially impossible.
Instead I’ll likely spend my week off school in La belle province snowboarding. I already go to mount Sutton twice a week but maybe I can bump that number up to seven.
I wonder if these regulations will still be in place in the summer. I’d like to do a road trip down through the United States. If not I’ll drive across Canada, but the prairies seem so boring.
