So there’s a new language bill in Quebec, and you’ve got opinions.
It’s time to share them, but not just among your friends.
The government has enough seats in the National Assembly to more or less pass whatever they want, whenever they want, but there is still a process for citizen feedback, and it doesn’t involve scrolling through Facebook looking for hot takes.
Discussing issues is important, but if peoples’ concerns and criticisms don’t actually make it to the ears of the MNAs who will eventually pass this bill into law, then they have no reason to believe there is an issue.
Every bill presented to the National Assembly gets posted in English (at least for now), at http://www.assnat.qc.ca/en/index.html and comes with a comments form. That site also includes the contact information of the MNA for every riding. Why not try giving yours a call?
