My Take: By Gordon Lambie

What an amazing place the world must be for Francois Legault, who can magically erase people’s problems with a wave of his hand and carefully crafted speech.
Systemic racism? Forget it, it’s gone!
Overloaded healthcare system? We’ll make it bigger: problem solved!
Access to services in English? You’ll be fine, don’t worry about it.
How fortunate we are to live in a place where every single organization and special interest group representing a minority community can stand up and say to the government, ‘excuse us, but we have a few concerns,’ and the leader of that government can say, ‘no, actually you are very lucky.’
And not just lucky, in fact, but historic. How grand! What an honour.
Never mind people’s questions, struggles, or other lived experiences; if we ignore the complaints long enough then everyone will just get tired and go away, I’m sure.
