With COVID-19 accelerating a second wave in the province, the 28-day challenge sounds like an amazing idea. To be quite frank, any person who was socially conscious during the pandemic should find this to be an easy and worthwhile challenge. I particularly won’t have too many issues with isolating myself voluntarily for 28 days seeing nearly all of my schooling is done remotely and the fact that I can write this piece from the comfort of my own home. Surely, I will miss going to the coffee shops to study and having lunch with friends. Nevertheless, if it means that we prevent the Eastern Townships from transitioning to red zone according to the new geographical regulations, I will happily comply and enjoy the fact that we are keeping a relative sense of normalcy in our part of the province, no matter how inconvenient it is.
