My Take: By Marianne Lassonde

This week, I came across a video comparing life after COVID-19 to the dying wishes of a blockbuster soldier. Suddenly, I expected a “Shhh… Just close your eyes…” after every “When this is all over, I’m hugging you.”
It made me chuckle. It’s the small things, you know?
With the way the rollout is going, it’s safe to assume most of us will be immunized by 2022. There were talks of everyone being vaccinated by Sept. 2021 – and that gave us hope… But it also ignored the possibility of things going awry – particularly delays in shipments.
Though, my issue is not with the delays but rather the conspiracies building momentum. It’s important to remember setbacks are normal, whether it is because of an allergic reaction to the vaccine or shipment. These setbacks, however, have nothing to do with the government implanting microchips or iPhone data.
