My Take: By Matthew McCully

I know it feels like we have spent most of 2020 waiting. When will confinement be lifted? When will a vaccine be developed? When can we play Pickleball?
I’m not the only one these days thinking we got a taste of freedom during the summer and went too far too fast, and now we are all just waiting for the other shoe to drop. When will the second wave hit? When will schools close again? When will I or someone I love get sick?
It’s not a healthy way to live.
Think back to when you were a kid and your parents told you that you had to wait 30 minutes after lunch before you could get into the pool.
You bawled. You writhed in pain. But you survived.
Patience is a virtue.
It may also be a lifesaver, so let’s all hang tight, ok?
