My Take: By Matthew McCully

The format of a My Take is 150 words – no more, no less – to express an opinion on a different topic each week. This week’s topic was cabinet shuffles.

I don’t care who is at the helm of a sinking ship.
All the names and titles look to me like decorations on a dumpster fire.
We have some serious issues to address in this province, and I think they should take priority over the language in which we address them.
Oh wait, that’s not true.
I guess it really is important that seniors in CHSLDs be able to beg for a bath in French.
And businesses should be confident everyone in the province can read and understand their vente de fermeture signs.
And that hold music people have to listen to waiting for a désolé from a government agency better by that super smooth jazz Québécois.
You know, an apple picked by a French person isn’t a French apple, it’s still just an apple.
So maybe make the focus eating, not talking about food.
