People are inherently judgmental. It’s just human nature. Mind you I’m not basing this on any scientific knowledge, I’m going off of my own personal encounters and life experience.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m guilty of it, too. But when it comes to Covid, I tend to step down from my pedestal. It appears people are hyper-critical of those who contract the deadly virus.
Then there is the faction of people shaming others for adhering to Quebec’s health and safety guidelines. There’s no winning in these situations. It can be frustrating.
This isn’t something we can always control. Yes, I’ll admit some people are putting themselves in high-danger situations. Is throwing a party smart? No. But that’s not everyone.
We’re living through a global health crisis. A global pandemic. This is going to profoundly change our society, if it hasn’t already done so.
