My Take: By Michael Boriero

The days of heatwaves, sweat stains and freshly cut grass is finally over. I hope. This week hasn’t been particularly cold, but there is a chill in the air, which means fall is upon us.
And I’m here for it. This is the best season. Hands down. We have Thanksgiving, Halloween, and more importantly, sweater weather.
I don’t know when my obsession began, but over the years I’ve accumulated far too many sweaters. They’re comfortable, warm, and really, what’s not to love about them?
Also, in my case a sweater does wonders to hide my future winter hibernation belly. Yes, it’s a thing. I’m always hit with a pang of sadness when I stow away my sweaters for the summer.
But here we are, back to fall weather, putting a lost summer behind us. Let’s all put on our sweaters and dream of better days.
