My Take: By Michael Boriero

My Take: By Michael Boriero

It’s Thanksgiving weekend and like so many others I’m looking forward to spending time with family, eating too much turkey, and watching football — except, this isn’t our reality, is it?
Family gatherings have been cancelled; at least for this month. Who knows what the rules will be in November. And let’s be honest, football is not trending in the right direction.
There are small outbreaks in a number of locker rooms, including my favourite team, the New England Patriots, which likely means more postponed games in the coming weeks.
It seems like 2020 is not ready to let us enjoy any sort of normalcy in our lives. But I suppose we need to keep our chins up,
although it’s getting harder and harder to do so for many of us.

Remember how naive we were during the bread making frenzy? Boy, those were the days.
