My Take: By Michael Boriero

It takes me a good hour to get into any body of water; a pool, a lake, the ocean.
It could be 40 degrees outside and you’ll still catch me pacing around in circles, dipping my toes in here and there, before slowly submerging myself and realizing the water really isn’t that cold.
While this may seem completely inconsequential, the Quebec government has been using a similar tactic throughout the entirety of the pandemic.
They are always testing the waters when it comes to implementing new guidelines or imposing new restrictions.
But this is a pandemic. I hope that at this point people understand the gravity of the situation. Cases are up with no signs of decline in the last few weeks.
It’s time to stop pussyfooting around the subject. Quebecers want a return to normal life.
We understand that this comes at a cost.
