My Take: By Michael Boriero

My Take: By Michael Boriero

Canada has faltered at every step when it comes to COVID-19 vaccine distributions. And better yet, Quebec has emerged as one of the worst in the rollout plan.
Pfizer threatened to pull out. Now there are supply issues. And Quebec is giving second doses up to 90 days after the first dose, which is not recommended by global healthy authorities.
I don’t want to sound defeated, but the promise of a completely vaccinated province and country come next fall seems increasingly unlikely. Oh, and we have to deal with variants now.
And who can forget that through all of this Quebec decided to reopen non-essential businesses. At this point, I’m expecting this to last at least another year.
I swear I’ll try to look on the bright side, but when nothing changes I start to lose hope. Is anyone else tired of this?
