My Take: By Michael Boriero

It kind of feels like Premier Legault is just playing games with us now, right? I can see him spinning a giant wheel to decide what his next move will be in this pandemic.
I wonder where it will land this time? Oh right, let’s reopen pools and movie theatres. This certainly seems logical. We desperately need to keep families busy during March break.
Meanwhile, many Quebecers remain out of work, COVID-19 variants are emerging throughout the province and our health care workers are exhausted beyond belief.
I’m not even really upset about the pools. It’s the movie theatres that throw me off. We can’t see our families, gather indoors, attend concerts, or go to restaurants.
But we can sit in a stuffy movie theatre for three hours? It just seems to lack common sense. I can’t imagine many people jumping at this opportunity.
